UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just loaded 5.0.0.419 on to my tour last night decided to give media sync a try since it didn't work with my previous os (5.0.0.230 v7.14), and what do u know IT WORKS!!

also this could be an indicator that .419 is very close to the official os since it seems rim has loaded the files necessary for media sync to link with the bb

Yep, it worked great for me. I didn't know it wasn't working before though because I did it the for the first time yesterday.

But yeah, it did a good job.
