    That was for the new Sidekick for T-Mobile. That huge event.

    Hands on with the new T-Mobile Sidekick LX : Boy Genius Report

    Plus, the 9630 is mainly a CDMA device for CDMA carriers. T-Mo is a GSM carrier.

    You know the Storm debuted on Vodafone UK...a GSM carrier. And then it launched on Verizon CDMA.

    It works like that some times.

    Your thinking about the 9500, not the 9530.

    9500 = GSM
    9530 = CDMA

    I'm pretty sure if T-Mobile were to get a Niagara it wouldn't be the "9630"

    True, most CDMA device end in XX30. I'll say they'll eventually be a GSM version of the 9630.

    also, can we trust a website that calls the phone a "touchscreen device"?
    We are all pretty certain that this won't be a touch screen, right?

    Yeah the 9630 won't be a touchscreen. The 9220 (I believe), 95XX, and 99XX will be touch screen. Not the 9630.

    I know the difference okay. But the guy was saying why would the Niagara launch on T-Mobile. Maybe there is a Euro GSM version in the works.

    I don't remember seeing 1700 Mhz listed on specs for the 9520. I doubt T-Mo would release the Storm with no 3G.

    RIM saw your petition for wifi and decided to not give rights to verizon, insteading switching the phone to GSM and handing it over to tmobile. and since you said you wanted all the credit if the niagara got wifi...

    THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT

    i would lol (and then cry.)
