I would like to say that my Tour has been a nightmare since I got it! I'm on my 3rd one b/c every one I have received thus far has been garbage & done something crazy forcing me to replace it every time SMH.

Now that my vent is out of the way...

All my contacts are in my Gmail account. Does anyone know how I can get them on my phone? It mentions exporting them in CSV or vCard format, but I don't think that corresponds to my phone.

Any help would be appreciated..I'm beyond frustrated with this phone...BiG disappointment

Try Google Sync Google Mobile . Works great for me. Plus you can sync your calendar too if you wish.

Why are all your contacts in your gmail account? Sprint backs up your contacts regularly I believe, or "hopefully" you were smart enough to back up your phone through Desktop Manager when you got the phone. If so, you could just load your latest backup and be all good.

Ahh GoogleSync worked like a charm!
Sprint doesn't automatically backup your contacts..you have to pay extra for that. My desktop manager acts crazy whenever I connect it, so I hadn't backed it up in a while.

Those "back-up assistant" type programs for dumb phones don't work on smart phones yet. Google sync is your best bet.
