I lost the names on contact and only numbers show up when someone calls after syncing with gmail. then all of my contacts were deleted when i tried to do an update on my desktop. after my update from desktop the phone asked me if i wanted to add the contacts saved on sim card. I hit yes thinking it would give me my contacts back and all i got was one contact for tech support.
I looked on my gmail contacts and all 294 were there but i dont know how to get them from there to my phone. Can anyone help me. I cant lose them from my gmail contacts or it will take forever to re type everything. Also i want to beable to search by name in my contacts screen. How can i regain that ability. Thanks for your help.
PS no contact s were saved in my backups on the bb desktop for some reason. the only place i found them is with gmail contacts.
