I'm posting this to share another method, if all else failed for you, to install Korean input for BB Tour 9630. I have no intention to point out that other methods don't work; they (korjap, language files, etc) just didn't work out for me or I never got to figure out how to work them. Thankfully, I found an easier substitute; yp-Kor.

here's the OS and platform version information for my phone:

BlackBerry 9630
v5.0.0.732 (Bundle 1242, Platform 4.2.0.334)


How to install:

1. connect your BB tour with USB
2. run desktop manager/desktop software
3. go to application uploader
4. install/upload/import the file "BB_Korean.alx" from "yp-Kor" folder (the zip file of yp-Kor is attached to this thread)
5. wait until your phone installs the yp-Kor and turns back on
6. enjoy!


Once again, I'm not an expert in blackberry phone but it was really easy for me to install Korean input system using this method. I almost gave up after 4~5 failures with other methods discussed previously in this BB tour 9630 forum. I just wanted to share this easy & successful installation with more people. Hope you can enjoy as I'm enjoying it!
