    So not everyone has some sort of screen ripple on there Tour? Also, I know not everyone is able to hear the buzzing sound from the screen, but do they all produce theat sound? Both mine and my wifes new tour make the noise, my wife can not hear it but I can and its very annoying. Is screen ripple, high pitched noise, and a loose battery case enough for VZW to replace it, or will the new one still make the noise?

    I have no ripple effect at all and definitely no buzzing noise. Is it a constant buzz or do you hear it only when say you move the track ball or something?

    Many people have replaced it with no problem cuz of these reasons I dnt see why that would change with you!

    the sound seems to be coming from the backlight of the screen.

    It seems that phones made in Canada are the ones that have no problem.

    Sorry, mine is a Mexico5, and no problems.....i think the first wave from both Canada and Mexico had problems that got past QC.....my first one was also Mexico5, and had bad screen ripple, bad trackball, and muffled call quality.
