I noticed at about 5am my time that my phone said there was an update available and that it could take up to two hours well dumb me and not knowing anything about my blackberry did it, well it's now at three hours and at only 32%. Anything I can do or just wait it out, is this normal? Thanks.

Just wait it out. Data speeds by your network will affect the required time for the update.
