Well I was down in Maryland for a lacrosse tournament and unfortunately dropped my Tour onto the blacktop without knowing it at a gas station. I then went on to Subway, grabbed a hoagie and went back to the tournament which was located around the corner. Little did I know, I did not have my phone on me. Upon this realization my buddy drove me back to the gas station to find my Tour face up with the rain pouring down upon it. I did not get to see the exact state it is in as I took the battery out asap. I just got home and placed it in a bag of rice where it will stay for the night. Not sure if I will be able to save this one. It had a invisible shield all over the phone and was running 5.0.0.238 with the newest hybrid. Hopefully I have it somewhat backed up. Luckily, I do have insurance if, worst case scenario, my Tour doesnt want to work tomorrow. Oh man do I hate the rain.

Put it near your oil burner for a while,,the heat will dry it out better than a bag of rice..

its amazing what rice can do to fix a wet phone! Good thinking on your part on quickly taking out the battery! You saved your phone just as much as the Rice did!
