You can not update via pocketmac, you CAN OTA when an update is released, and in Sept there will be a mac version of DM enabling device updates. Also... Try bootcamp?

OTA is always an option but if you wait till September, RIM is releasing a DM for Macs.

I'm in a similar situation. Is there anyway I can backup my phone now without DM availbility and with PocketMac still not reading the TOUR.
