Count me in . Seems like mine is a ripple that covers approximately 1/2 inch of the lower corners whenever you press the red or green buttons. It worries me a bit . Should I be concerned ? I can deal with the ripples a lot more than I can of the ULTRA WEAK vibration that you can't even feel in vibrate mode

I guess I got lucky with this. I have yet to experience a ripple on my screen. (knocking furiously on the wooden table as I type this too!)
I've got it. Sometimes it's more pronounced than at other times. I have a screen protector and also a hard-shell case on it. If I just press precisely on the talk or end call button, it does not create a ripple. But usually, I also press on the case at the same time and the pressure from the case must transmit some extra pressure on the edge of the screen, and I get some ripple. In fact, I can press along the top of the screen on the case and get the same kind of ripple.
From what I've asked and read about, it's no big deal unless it is so annoying that you can't stand it. I'm out of my 30 day trade in window, so unless something else happens, I'm keeping it.
I do and I'm on my third "green dot" tour. (5th tour overall). Way to go RIM. Good QC.

No screen ripple here. All four buttons do not do it..... Now if I touch the screen then it does it...:)
Minor ripple. Sometimes happens when I push down on the trackball. It doesn't bother me too much.

My original "large green dot" Tour did have the ripple, two days ago I received a replacement "small green dot" tour and the ripple is gone (when touching the top row buttons or trackball).
I have one of the originally released Tour's and I must be one of the lucky ones because the only issue I ever had with it is minor screen ripple. It only occures when I press the green send button. It's very minor and doesn't bother me a bit. It hasn't had any effect on the phone/screen itself either. I never experienced any of the other problems either, loose battery door, bad TB, etc. So for all I've read I'll take the slight ripple!
My green dot Tour finally does not ripple at all. My past 2 did. The slightest amount of pressure caused it to. I was more upset about the trackball though.
I have really minor ripple when using the trackball or the BB button. But whenever I take my Defender case off or the commuter case off - the ripple is gone so i think it has to do something with the pressure that the case puts on the phone.
No ripple at all on mine.
I have never experienced it!
And I hope I never will!

I am going to be receiving my third Tour in the mail tomorrow and my other 2 Tours both had ripple problems. The first one, got the day it was released, was much worse than the first replacement I received. The Tour I have now only ripples a little in the corners and every once in awhile when I push down on the trackball. It never bothered me as much as the trackball issues that I have going on though. Maybe the phone I get tomorrow won't have any trackball issues or screen rippling...maybe.
Quick question to everyone here : The ripple you guys are talking about, minor/big, can you guys actually see it without trying to notice it? I mean is it 'hard-to-miss' or you guys proactively looked for it and then found it.
That is my experience as well.
I have the ripple. My first three Tours didn't have it, but my fourth does. However, the trackball on this one is absolutely perfect, so there's no way I'm going to risk trading it in for something as minor as screen rippling. I also have the high-pitched noise when the screen is on.
I thought I read somewhere that if you unscrew the back screws a little it helps with the ripple. Has anyone tried this? Does this work?
It only notice it occasionally. It's most noticeable on a darker background.
My first Tour had a slight screen ripple when I hit the end button, but you could only see it on darker solid colored backgrounds (like the main app screen). My new Tour is so far flawless.
I've got the ripples, too. Not too bad with the main buttons (Phone, BB key, Back & End), but definitely noticable when I use the side, quicklaunch keys.
I only get a ripple on the left bezel of the screen when I press down on it. And the right side when I press down really hard, all in all perfectly fine to me and is only noticeable on darker backgrounds.
I have really bad screen ripples. Almost every time I click one of the top four buttons or the trackball I get a bad ripple effect. I think my screen is ALWAYS rippling though because sometimes when I open apps or a page that use a dark grey background, the screen looks like it's pulsating. I really have no other choice but to just deal with it. It's not worth trying to get a refurb and ending up with a worse device. Oh well....
No ripple effect on mine. I actually had no idea what this was until I clicked on this thread.
mine ripples.. mostly with the buttons on the right. ugh...
I have none whatsoever. My first Tour DID have the screen ripple a little in the lower right corner, but this new replacement has literally NONE. I can't even get it to ripple if I try.
