How do I sync my Gmail Calender to my Tour?

pretty easy to use and very efficient!

I was afraid of that, I was hoping to accomplish this OTA. I use Mac computers.

If you are running BB OS 5.0 or higher, be sure to turn off the native BIS Google Contact sync to prevent duplicate contact entries.

Hey Leskchan, I'm running .61. and I have duplicated entries. I've been wanting to clear the calendar and start over. How do ya clear the calendar and how do ya stop the duplicate entries?

this is the best thing to sync the calendar. my calendar sync with DM stopped working when I upgraded to the beta .230 OS. So this was an easy way around it.

First, you will need to sign out of Google Sync. By signing out you are delinking your BB with Gmail. Google Sync will delete all the calendar events (call this the true events) off your BB. The calendar events will remain in Gmail as the true events. Your contacts will not be affected.

Now if you go back to your BB calendars, you will see the orphaned events, if any. Delete them. You should have an empty calendar. Next to go BB Options, Advanced Options, Default Services, and make sure your gmail account is the default for calendar.

Finally sign back into Google Sync and this will sycn correctly going forward.
