My phone has every text to every person I have ever sent or received. I adjusted Keep Messages to 15 days(was set on 30) but still didnt put a dent in total texts. I know I can go thru and delete each one, is there an easier way? A setting to stop from storing all texts? When I check memory in options, I only have 1.8MB free, that seems REALLY low. I only have 8 apps. Any idea why it is so low? What can I do to stop storing every text?
As to the low memory, have you tried doing a battery pull with the device turned on and checking again?
You can't stop the device from saving the messages, but you can easily delete them en masse. Open the message list, scroll to a date, press the menu button, select "Delete Prior".
