A: you can call from a different number.
B: you could just record a voice note, much more simple.
    C: use your e.s.p.

    ok-
This has to do with my husbands corporate bb. I have had issues with him in the past with marital boundaries. His call log show he missed an unknown number call, called and left himself a voicemail a few minutes after the missed unknown number call and then called his voicemail 10 min later.
He doesn't remember leaving himself a voicemail. Is it as simple as calling yourself? He said maybe he did it by accident but is it more involved than ****-dialing?

I really think with any phone you can't. When you check your voice mail your dialing your own number from your own phone, so that can't be unless someone else wants to give some insight on this. But to leave yourself a voice mail you do have to call from a different number.

I just checked it out and dialed my number and got options to check my mail, nothing else.

    In his messages it says:
voicemail 1 new message his name(mobile)

like he left a message for himself from his own bb???

Alright, I've found it is possible. Here's how you do it.

    Call voice mail.
Wait for it to say main menu.
With sprint the option is 2, (send a message)
It will prompt you to dial a 10 digit number, so enter your zip code and your own number.
Leave your own message of whatever.
    and you've got your message.

Sorry it took so long, but I had to figure it out. It was killing me to know lol.

    Thanks Creep (that looks funny)
So sounds more complicated than "must've done it by mistake."
Doesn't make me feel too good.
I appreciate you spending so much time on it.

Just out of curiosity, why? Unless you plan on listening to the voice mail via another phone/device you can create a voice note (under media folder) and play it back right on the Blackberry.

(not that i condone this but)

go through his contacts and see if he has his name saved under another phone number.
