How do i get rid of the Gmail phone book from my BB i deleted gmail and its still there.

What's a Gmail phone book? The Gmail icon? Or Email account?

To delete the Gmail App:
Options Icon
Advanced Options
Applications
Highlight Gmail App
Menu
Delete

To delete Gmail Email account:
Email Settings Icon
Log into BIS
Highlight Gmail
Menu
Delete

Gmail adds a contact list to your device. so if you contacts in there contact list it will add it. i want to delete the gmail contacts because i now have double contacts. if i delete the gmail account the contact list still stays there does anyone know how to get rid of it.

that is what this is sounding like. and you might want to try and just delete the app

Was going to say what the above posters did. As far as i know gmail does not add contacts to your BlackBerry.

Google Sync does this. Find the Google Sync icon and open it. Then hit menu-sign out. It will ask you if you want to delete all sync'ed items from your phone.
