    My bb Tour drowned the other night and I have tried reviving it. It does turn on, but the keys do not work. I am trying to back it up but it prompts me for the password which I can't enter due to the keys not working. My new Tour arrives today and I wanted to transfer everything from the damaged phone to the new phone, any idea on how I can go about this please?

    If you use DM, you can enter the password using DM and you don't need to enter it on the device.

    Link in my sig for backing up 3rd party apps. Do that in conjunction with a normal backup in DM.

    You should be able to do so through your Desktop manager as long as your computer recognizes your device you should be good...if not I would say you're pretty much screwed unless you take it into verizon or somthing

    thanks everyone... I've tried DM and I enter the password on the pc but it pops up again on the phone??? It's odd, but I guess I am screwed. My last resort would be VZW.
