    Am sure there's a really obvious answer but when I go to the password screen to disable it (want to upgrade OS, and thought it'd be easier if I disabled it for the moment). I can't change it from enabled to disabled. I DO know the password but not having any luck. Thanks.

    Not on BES, this is BIS phone. Option to change to disabled is greyed out. Have disabled encryption.

    You need to use bbsak. Or jlcommander and reset it policy
