hi people, i have a blackberry tour 9630 and i bricked it when installing OS 5.0. now i have a problem installing the OS and also returning the OS 4.7 back on it cause the comp can not read the device making it hard to install the OS... i was wondering if there was any other possible ways to install the OS without using the usual way cause every comp i connect the blackberry it doesn't connect. Any ideas crazy or sane needed, i really need help if anyone can hear me and help me i would truly appreciate...

Are you using a pc? Do you have a 507 reload software? How are you trying to install the OS? DM, loader? If using windows what version?

If your PC won't recognize your BB you probably need to uninstall the OS on your PC via the control panel, add or remove programs. Recommend you then run CCleaner to clean your registry. Reinstall the OS on your PC and it should recognize your BB then. Good Luck!

In the command prompt, have you navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\Loader.exe /nojvm

For 64 bit change program files to program files (x86)
