    I just updated to 5.0.0.230
    everything seems to be working fine but i need to reload my bbm contacts when i went to reload them my tour said that there was not a charging source in the usb and it wont connect - any ideas - im running desktop manager 4.7 if thats a problem?

    Were you running BBM 4.7 or BBM5 before you upgraded? If you upgraded to BBM 5, you should be able to restore your contact list OTA.

    did you plug in your laptop? i think thats what your computer is trying to tell you.
    plug your laptop in.. then plug your berry into the laptop and restore from your last backup.

    just unplug and reconnect, generally works for me. I had the same issue, did that and it was fine.

    you need desktop 5. it also loads your apps back in. i don't think 4.7 works very kindly with 5 on phone.

    agreed, I would also update to DM 5.0 as it is much friendlier with all the new OS and devices.
