    I am on a Verizon Tour and running 4.7.1.57 and just upgraded to 5.0.230 or sumthin like that. When and IF the official 5.0 release from Verizon comes out, will I still be notified to upgrade or will I not be able to because it already " sees " me that I am at 5.0 already ?

    No you will not be notified, or at least the people who upgraded on the storm were not notified of an os update.
