I am giving my Tour to my wife and she will only use Gmail. I had verizon swap the phone over and I added Gmail for her. I see only that account in BIS.

However my own GMAIL account and my Exchange (run through BES) is stil there.

I deleted the service book for the Gmail account (is that all I need to do?)

Do I have to have my IT department delete my BES account and then delete the Exchange Service Books? Can I do it without them?

I have heard that if I just delete the Service books the account may come back.. true?

Its on Verizon if that means anything.

you have to delete the service books options>advanced options> service books

I believe your IT department needs to remove the device from the bes.
