Here is how you can get the Lock button back in Sprint OS 5.0.0.484 and later:

Go to Options>Password.

Click on Set Password.

Enter your password.

Press Menu button, and then Save.

Go back to main screen, and your Lock button will be back.

HOWEVER, you MUST leave Password ENABLED - if you DISABLE it, the Lock button will disappear again.

Thats not the lock button ppl are talking about. But yes if ppl really need to lock their phone then make it password enabled
