    Why not? I've done mine to factory reset, to 5.0, back to .61 and now on .419. Was wiped with BBASK....and mine is still unlocked.

    Guess I read the question incorrectly. Though it said would be unlocked. My bad. Yes if the device is unlocked and you wipe it, it will stay that way.

    Make sure your device seting for mobile netwroik is set to global or 1XEV.

    options>mobile network>last setting in there.

    Really? I have it set GSM, I am using Telcel here in Mexico and is GSM, I tried Global and nothing happens.
