I was actually just wondering the same thing. My question now is, does the battery require a different battery door, or is it pretty just a tighter fitting battery?

Doesn't exist yet, maybe that is why you can't find it?

The battery does exist.....as the Tour uses the same battery as the Storm and the 8900. The battery door does not exist to go with the Tour though, so you would be without the battery door.

Can anyone tell me if the Seidio extended 1600 battery really adds that much more run time to the Tour? Translation: Is it worth $50 or should I just get an extra 1400 bat off eBay for $10?

I have had the 1600 for a few days and haven't noticed much difference. Although they say it take 3-5 full charges to get the full advantage of it. The best thing is that extra weight it gives the tour. It isn't much heavier, but it is just enough to make the tour feel more solid.
