I got a 9630 a few weeks ago and immediately noticed the loose battery door after a day of use. Today, I finally got annoyed by the sound it makes when you're writing/typing a message (the creaking).

So I went ahead and fixed it with 3 small pieces of heat retardant and resistant electrical tape. (Scotch Super 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape) Took less than a min and the door is no longer loose and fits really snug.

The top of the door is 1 piece of tape and middle of the door is 2. Smoothed the middle pieces on with my money clip.

Fixed the problem for now, hopefully permanently. But I figured this was better than going to the Verizon store and going through the pain in the *** it is to get a new phone.

This is a great little fix that people have been using since the phone first came out. It's definitely better than replacing the phone....especially since the new one will most likely have the same problem.
