Ever since I updated my Verizon Tour to Verizon's official OS 5.0 (and the recent platform update as well), whenever I pick up a call using the earphone with mic, it makes an EXTREMELY painfully loud sound into the earphones at the very first second of picking up the call (it sounds like a distorted continuation of my ring tone, and very very loud). After this initial noise outburst, the call is totally fine.

There are times when I keep my earphones in my ear while I do some work so I can pick up calls and start talking with the press of a single button while still having both my hands free, but this malfunction makes it impossible (unless I want to go deaf). Does anyone have this problem or know how to fix it? I don't want to downgrade OS
