I recently downloaded a video and the download speed was clocked at 50.5KBPS. Really? Does the tour really have dialup speed limits? Or is there a setting I can change? Ty

I believe you may have kbps confused with KBPS.

A "56k" modem can theoretically manage 53kbps or 53000 bits per second.

50.5KBPS (capitals) means 50,500 bytes per second.

    Each byte contains 8 bits.

To compare the two, you can do some easy multiplication.

50.5KBPS ~ 404000kbps. As you can see, way faster than 53000kbps.

    Mkay?
