Sorry if this has been covered before, but if it has, I can't find it... On my 8830, I could place the cursor anywhere within a phone number and press the green "dial" button and it would dial the number. Whether the number was in a text message or a memo field didn't matter... the BB seemed to realize that it was a phone number.
The Tour doesn't seem to behave the same way. Do I have something set incorrectly?
[Slapping head]... Well, that seemed to work! I swear that I used to have to click the number with my "dial" key in order to dial it. With the trackball click, it gives me a short menu which includes the option to dial the number. Thanks!!
I remembered the Curve doing the same thing. I tried pressing send with a phone number highlighted on the Tour, and it brought me to the dialing screen.
I still always forget I need to click the number w/ the trackball on my Tour. Hard to break that old habit.
