I've noticed lately on my girlfriends Tour that when she clicks on the Browser icon to open it, there is about a 5-7 second delay before the browser even opens. This and other things just seem to have general lag and I don't know the cause. She had over 100 MB of free app memory and no other apps running. A battery pull didn't help either as it has been ongoing for over a week or two. What's causing this lag and how to stop it? Is it the OS? She's running a leaked Tour OS 4.7 version .53 I think.

Install 5.0.0.230. No lag at all anywhere and I'm running berryweather.

It's very possible your OS is lagging as a whole due to an overcrowded inbox, event log, or something else like that. Try deleting old text messages and emails and clearing the event log (alt + LGLG -> BB button -> Clear Log).

Oh, .230 upgrade would be a good idea. I just got a brand new Tour with 4.7 installed and the fresh install was much slower than .230, even with quite a few apps on .230.
