If VZW was smart they would make this ptt app available in app world for all blackberrys and charge a monthly subscription fee. It would just make more since. Or just make it work across networks. Most everyone I know has at&t, sprint or t-mobile. If they did that and other carriers agreed this ptt won't tank like its going to. And NO extra free for cross ptt. Mho.
Just think about is as an app in app world, and the $ they could have at $5 a month times 5000 more users. $25000 a month. It would make this app really usefull and not really useless. And call it Vtalk.
im sure they will be releasing it for another phones soon. they obviously need to push out a new OS that includes the PTT modules before it can be used by other devices.
I agree it is Coming. I know this cause the Promo for FREE till end of Contract PTT states ALL BLACKBERRY's Thru the end of June and not The TOUR for 2 weeks.

Ok that post you JUST MADE makes sense. In comparison to this abortion;
I know this cause the Promo for FREE till end of Contract PTT states ALL BLACKBERRY's Thru the end of June and not The TOUR for 2 weeks.
That looks like it was written by a dyslexic alcoholic with two fingers. What it SHOULD look like is this;
I know this because the promotion for 'Free until the end of Contract PTT' states 'all BlackBerries activated on PTT until the end of June', not just the Tour. This means that all BlackBerries available on VERIZON will get PTT by the end of June.
See how much easier that is when you use adjectives, and punctuation? ****.
What I meant by my original post was they should make this app available for all bb users for any company and bill them once a month the 5 bucks. This way vzw could make money off sprint, att, tmobile and others by offering them a cross all network ptt. Then it would be a useful app. Or its going to tank.
I mean when its not free anymore it will loose its appeal for the fact is no one but my wife will have it. Right? Who is going to buy a ptt phone that is gay when the mulitmedia phones are way cooler and just why would any want to pay 5 bucks to ptt when a call or text is free? If I can't ptt an att or sprint person and have to call them then really what use is ptt?

problem is it's verizon PTT not blackberry PTT, it would have made more sense for RIM to add the service to there BIS than have it go through a single provider.
