Well, my dad turned on his tour this morning and his contacts icon was gone. I tried "show all" and it wasn't hidden or in any folders. Also tried a battery pull and it didn't come back.
For now I set contacts as his right convenience key and that works, so nothing is deleted, the icon is just gone.
Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind ... The icon mysteriously reappeared a few minutes after the reboot. It was in the applications folder, but I could have sworn that it wasn't there immediately after the reboot. Very strange ...

I would back up the contacts to somewhere else just to be sure.
They are backed up on the DM. But the actual contacts didn't disappear ... Since I could still access the contact list when I set it to the right convenience key. The icon just disappeared for a while ... But again, a few minutes after the reboot it came back.
