As most of us are aware the 9630(Tour) has a nasty habit of adding the default Custom Contact Alert to any contact you edit
**VERY ANNOYING I KNOW**
Anyway, the only way before today that i knew of remedying this was to completely delete and re-enter the contact (way too much effort to do) or if you use Sync you can delete it and let your desktop contact rewrite it to your Tour...
However, if you just wanna delete the contact alert you can in the Ringtone "Set Contact Alert" Menu- just press the BB button and choose delete... Never said i was very smart, but it works just as well
What's fascinating is that folks suggest that installing a beta OS may be accompanied by bugs. Yikes, you mean the official OS is bug-free???? Not a chance.
