hey guys, im having this issue where every time i edit a number or name on any of my contacts i end up losing the ring tones i have set for text messages, calls etc and im not sure why. I end up either going back to old tones, or default tones that the phone came with.

Any suggestions?

What OS do you have? Do you have any 3rd party apps for profiles, sound, or LED notifications? You might have a setting messed up somewhere in an app...

no, i just got 5.0.0.XXX through verizon but its done it since the first time i edited a contact.

So does it erase all of your settings, or just the ones for that contact? What 3rd party apps do you have?

Most of that i didnt have and it still did it 1st time i edited
