Once you finish cleaning the trackball with the q-tip, do you then dry the trackball off with a cloth or let it dry on its own?

I just use my thumb to move it around and it pretty much will dry on it's own depends on how much you use really

I wipe the entire phone down with an Alcohol prep pad.. then follow up on drying the phone with a lint free towel including the trackball

I don't use a q-tip as it will leave cotton fuzz on the trackball. I use alcohol and a non-lint cloth (same kind you clean an LCD TV with). It's lint free and I don't have to worry about anything getting inside my trackball.
