First, Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads.

I have the Verizon 9630 which came with a 1.6gig memory card. I have some pictures and videos on it now.

I was given a 4Gig card and I would like to swap them but I am a little new to this and I don't want to screw it up.

Taking the card out and in is no problem. I don't know which I should do first.

Should I just remove the card and save its contents to my PC and then install the new one?

    Any advice appreciated as always.

You could take the card out, copy the contents to the computer, put the new card in the computer to copy the contents back to that, then put it back in the device.

That'd probably be the easiest way to handle it.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Should I put the new card in the phone first to format it to the phones specs and then remove it and add items from the PC?

You can, but it shouldn't be necessary.
