I had my bb tour with sprint en the states, now I'm living in El Salvador, Central America, and i want to know if I can activate my bb here. Do I have to downgrade it? please help me!

Your blackberry tour will work perfectly in El Salvador, provided it is unlocked of course.

I was able to use my Blackberry Tour (and now Bold 9650) in Panama without any problems

i mailed my tour to my cousin in san miguel. i hope the store guy can change the language to spanish for her. it should work since it is a world phone.

As said above, you need to make sure the phone is unlocked.
Also, you should make sure you have a proper data plan that includes Blackberry Internet Service.
