    So hypothetically if you were in an area with no CDMA coverage, but that had either AT&T or T-Mobile coverage, and you have the phone set to global mode, will it roam on AT&T or T-Mobile using the include SIM card (not an AT&T or T-Mobile card)? Don't know if it would ever happen that often, but was just thinking about it and thought I'd throw it out there.

    No. It's gotta have an ATT or Tmob SIM to work on GSM.

    i don't think so. you might have to do some questionable things to the device to force it to roam on a GSM network here.
    overseas it defaults over, but here it's CDMA..
    i know that when i turned off CDMA and turned on the GSM radio, i got no service.

    If you have an unlocked Tour, and have changed out the SIM to an ATT/TMobile SIM then yes it should work. I have made calls on ATT.
