If you backed up your original Tour and were planning to load that information to the new Tour, your memo's will transfer. If you use the device switch wizard, they will also transfer.
yes, infact, you can transfer any of your backed up user data from your old device to your new one: contacts, calendar, password keeper entries, memopad, etc.
If you only want to transfer some info you can go to "backup/restore" in DM and pick advanced, on the left pick the backup file to use, and then select which databases you want to transfer to the device. You can also just transfer all the data by picking restore instead of advanced.
