When taking a picture the flash goes on when it does the auto-focus, then another flash is supposed to blink as it takes the picture...Sometimes that 2nd flash doesn't just blink, it stays lit for a few seconds and no picture is taken...how can I fix this? Thanks in advance!

If you haven't - remove the battery with the phone ON, wait about 40 seconds and replace. See if that helps.
