Dashed to the Verizon store last night and pickup the tour right after I got off the phone with the Verizon customer rep who bump up my NE2 5 days early.

Performance: The last phone I have was a pearl and wow, what a difference. Applications runs faster, screen is much nicer (bigger of course). The photo quality is very good. Also, many more custom settings to choose from compared to the Pearl: for example, ring tone and email notification.

Phone feels very solid and sturdy. Side buttons are placed well and love the key lock on top of the phone where the Pearl didn't have.

Overall very happy with the phone. The only complain I have is the NE2 is now only $50 credit from $100 few years back.

Looking to download some new theme and applications in the near future and waiting for a seido 360 case to protect this baby.
