Recently my ear piece speaker has become so distorted that I can't hear anything out of it. Is this something that can be replaced or do I need a new phone. Bought the phone off of craigslist so now warranty. I do have insurance but its a 90 deductable. Thank you for any input.

if I replaced the midplate would it come with the speakers.

The ear piece speaker is part of the main board. Soldered on there. I've seent he ear piece for sale but you would have to take off the old speaker and solder on the new one.

So the midplate would not include the main board I'm new to all of this. I'm sure I could figure it out if I knew what to buy.

No midplate doesn't include the main board. The main board of a blackberry is like a motherboard of a pc. Also contains the ESN and software info
