Hey!! First Off Let Me Say I Am In Love With My Tour....best Phone Ever. I Don't Know If Its Sprint Or What But Does Anyone Else With Sprint Have Crappy Service? I Drop Calls Everyday All Day. I've Had The Phone For About 2 Weeks And The Service Sucks!!! I Dont Know If Its The Service Because My Friend Has A Curve On Sprint And He Never Drops Calls! I Hope Its Just This Particular Phone I Have Because I Do Not Want To Get Rid Of The Tour!!!!!! Does Anyone Else Have The Same Problem??
The Tour has a known issue with the radio and not an RF giant. Most of it has been blamed on the antenna being in the bottom of the phone. The 4.7.1.57 update has helped the radio out some though it still isn't great.
the tour is my first blackberry. I have come from 8 years of nextels. I am on sprint as well. My service is fantastic. Much better than it was on iden. I think I have dropped maybe 1 call in the 3 weeks I have been using this device. I would say maybe you have a bad phone.

The only time my is crappy is in my living room, back of wal-mart and in old fashion cement building. Beside all that my signal strength is pretty good.
I have dropped the same amount of calls on my Tour as I have on the 8330 and the 8830. Its just the way it is. You get in a bad area, it's going to dump the call.
I've been with Sprint for 10 years and I haven't had any dropped calls in my area in the last 5 years.
To the OP: Update your PRL (Options/Mobile Network/Menu Key/Update Preferred List). Also, make sure you have the right Mobile Network settings too. You want to make sure your Network Technology is set to "1XEV" (not Global, or GSM/UMTS).
I always had 4 - 5 bars at home with my 8330, with my Tour, I get CONSTANT dropped calls inside, stellar service just outside. At a friends house on the other side of town, my Curve was mostly useless, and my Tour gets 5 bars.
go swap the phone or call tech support and make sure the phone is provisioned right
