    i have boost iden and have a working blackberry 8350i on the $50 iden boost unlimited. everything works fine except for the blackberry functions..like bbm etc�i was wondering if anybody knew how to get the blackberry 9630 to work on the boost cdma network. will they connect it if i just call? or would i have to unlock the 9630 before i call? also would all of the functions work because they now have a blackberry plan?? thanks to anyone who can help�.

    You would probably need to have it flashed. Unlocking is only if you want to use it on a GSM provider. Try bbmedics.com

    Yes,with some work you can put the Sprint 9630 on Boost. You have to stick with the $50 Unlimited Plan,the $60 BB Unlimited Plan only works with the Boost-branded 8330. Go to Howard Forum's Boost Sub-Forum.They can steer you in the right direction.

    you can use almost any sprint phone on boost cdma. i am using a tour.

    To the best of my knowledge,no.No RIM-dependent features like push email or BBM will work.Voice,messaging,and web surfing have been made to work.
