I don't think this one is ugly at all! I quite like it. It says that it's the retail version from Verizon, so I'm assuming this may be the actual battery door.

this door is 100x better than the glossy door. great! now i don't have to replace it.

The Tour from Engadget and BGR have the same exact battery doors. BG really likes it...

The battery door isn’t all glossy anymore which was scratch city. It’s got soft-touch rubber on the outer part and the inner part is a carbon-fiber material. Really, really sharp.

I guess I was so used to the black carbon look...the silver I'm sure will grow on me though just gotta get used to that now

I cant say that i see what your talking about... the door looks the same as in the other video and pics of unboxing

Yeah, I agree. It's not silver at all. It's definitely black all around.

....edited..... sorry i was wrong... the picture shot in one of them made the cover look grayish/silverish once again it was just the way the picture was taken.. it is indeed black...my bad :-(

I really like how they made the sides of the battery cover rubberized or at least matte, but i may get a replacement door that is all rubberized if one is available
