I've had this problem for the longest time and didn't care about it until now

How do you separate a conference call?

When I add a call, and the other person doesnt pick up, i always end up hanging up on BOTH lines, whether or not they are connected or not

and if someone needs to go, it ends up hanging up on the whole call.

So is there a way to split up a conference call WHILE its happening or someone doesnt pick up when being called.
