I live in Ecuador and I'm undecided between these 3 BB. I wanted a 3G phone so the obvious choices were the Bold and Tour (I don't like the Storm). As a phone I like the Tour more than the Bold but then I found out that my carrier does not work in the 2100 Mhz band for 3G so now I'm undecided because the Bold does work with 3G here. Is 3G much better than EDGE? If it isn't, wouldn't a Curve 8900 be a better choice? By the way, I don't see WiFi as a big advantage because there aren't to many places here with WiFi and when I'm home I wouldn't use my phone for internet. Am I missing anything else?

My opinion is the Tour and Bold are the best blackberry devices available. In you situation I'd go with the Bold.

well normally 3g is not really that much faster if you can hop on youtube and watch a vid of the 8900 browsing the web on edge.

and if the tour will not work on 3g yet and wifi is not really available in places you want to use it the bold would def be the way to go.

I've used both the Tour and the Bold. I prefer the Bold because I do have the opportunity to use WiFi a lot. Both are excellent phones, and whichever you choose you'll be satisfied.

bold 9000's battery is not good so its 3G is also not good for you. choose 8900 with edge. have fun^^

    5 year old thread dude.

Nevertheless, the Bold 9000 holds its own when it comes to speed and response. Plus the screen has acceptable real estate.

Can't say the same for the 8900 and the 9630, though they do have twice the app memory.
