I had a curve and did a battery pull everyday but that wore out the cover and got annoying. Is that really necessary on the tour? Can i just clear the cache and cookie files through the browser options.
instead of removing battery, you can also press alt + right shift + delete
Rebooting the phone should be performed everytime you download/install or remove an app , also some do it on a weekly basis, helps keep the phone running smoothly.

obviously you didn't read like 2 posts up from when you posted this....
Only time it gets slow is after javascript intensive pages which I rarely enable. Even then won't drop below 100 but can act tired for very short while after.

pressing alt+right shift+del keys will completely reboot your device, it is the same thing as manually removing your battery but obviously you don't have to manually remove the battery door and remove the battery and re-insert it
What do you mean, reset your speed dials?? I have it do a quickpull every night and do a true hard reset by removing the battery every once in a while when I have time to wait for the reboot. I have never lost my speed dials. Do tou acvtually lose yours, or do you just think this will happen? BTW, quickpull is not a "true" reboot. A "true" reboot consists of actually pulling the battery out. When using quickpull, there is always power to the phone(the power is never disrupted) pulling the battery out truely disrupts the power to the phone and actually does a true reboot.
