- Do yourself a favor though. go download Quickpull lite and it will essentially do the same thing. It basically restarts the phone much like when you install software and have to reboot on your PC. Basically it saves you the aggravation of having to remove any cases or covers off the phone and works pretty much as well as a complete battery pull.
If you ever get to a point where the phone won't respond, THEN remove the back cover and pull the battery out and stick it back in. You don't have a specific amount of time to leave the battery out just make sure you take it all the way out so the phone shuts off.11-14-09 10:48 AMLike 0 - Just hold shift, alt, dlt and it will restart your phone. No reason to download the app. Sometimes I just pull the battery out and leave it out for a while and put it back in. The main thing to making sure your phone is running fast is to make sure you don't have a bunch of apps left open.
Hold your blackberry button or hold ALT and BACK and you'll see all your apps running. A lot of new users just hit the red button and think it closes out the app and it doesn't. It just minimizes it basically. It seems like 8 out of 10 blackberry users I run into who haven't had it long don't know this.
My girlfriend had like 20 apps running at once. She had no idea you had to actually close an app out.11-14-09 03:56 PMLike 0
