When I go to the Applications folder, I can't find Blackberry App World or Google Maps (which I installed through a link sent to me from Google).

When I pull up my desktop manager, it says that both applications are installed.

When I go into Application Center, under Blackberry App World it says "Downgrade"

Any ideas?

I downloaded google maps and found it in my downloads folder.

Yup, you would find it in the downloads folder, because you downloaded it from the internet

Any new apps get dl'd to the downloads folder. I usually keep new apps in there until I decide either keep them and move them to the appropiate folder or I delete them from options.
