I have the 8830 but i am thinking about switching to the tour, my brother has one and i noticed when you bring up the application switcher that you cant use shortcut keys like on the 8830.

With my 8830 running 4.5 i bring up the switcher and hit b for browser, n for messenger, m for messages, etc.

Does anyone know how to enable this on the tour?

I think it may work if you DISable home screen dialing in the Phone options.

thanks! that did the trick. too bad you have to disable that to get it working though. seems like you wouldnt even really need it though, it almost defeats the purpose of having the shortcut in the application switcher.

anyone know of a work around?
