    (I meant anyone SAD in the tidal ) when the Tour first came out, I really thought it was going to be a great phone (it is a great phone) but looks like RIM is not continuing on with the "Tour" name anymore. Its being scrapped and no more Tours for the future and replacing the name as "Bold"

    to me, I wish Tour continued on into Tour 2, but not anymore it looks like.

    Is this going to hurt the resale value of the Tour since its only 1 generation of it?

    All it really is, is a name change and some better features. It is still most likely going to follow the 96** number series.

    A name is a name. As long as it keeps getting better, I will not complain

    no, it will not be in the 96** again its more likely to be 9750 now

    Then they have not really put the tour away at all. RIM has not confirmed that. They just changed form having it be the Tour 2 to a next generation to the bold series.

    That will still leave the 96** series nubmers open for future devices.
    Well, at least one can hope
